Source Code Academy Canada (S.C.A.) is proudly a not-for-profit social enterprise organization. When you support S.C.A. you’re not only providing underestimated Black, low-income and marginalized children and youth with an opportunity to explore STEAM education, financial literacy, and entrepreneurship programming, but you’re supporting a community with a holistic focus of creative arts, mental health, literacy, social emotional learning, social justice, and the fitness & nutrition. As we are building the foundation of our academy, every dollar you donate will be used to purchase and refurbish (1) used and new laptops/tablets/robotics/VR equipment/maker-space equipment, and computer software for our children and youth, (2) hire our youth/educator program facilitators, (3) develop our curriculum for our programs, (4) set up in person and online events and workshops and (5) provide nutritious meals for our in person workshops and events in public housing communities.
